Not starting an argument nor debate or anything, just curious as to why they made both axles offset? The reason is I've seen alot of rigs rear axle have the diff in the middle and the front axle is offset, so just wondering

It's supposed to be like a KOH rig, and most of them run both axles offset. I'm guessing it's so that the diff case will be closer to one tire, and if your able to get that tire up and over an obstacle you won't be smashing the diff into it.

Because the transmission outputs are offset, so offseting the axles make the driveshafts run a straighter angle. To add clearance in the center of the axle. On a 1:1 the rear is centered and the front is offset because the driveshaft going to the front axle has to get around beside the trans and motor. Hope that helps. |

Ah alright ya I get now, that was why I was confused the most cuz id seen so many rigs with center diff in rear and offset up front.

Clearance is simply better, where the output is or not.

My Landcruiser has both the diffs on the passenger side.. And so do most I've seen.

Maybe it's a Oregon thing then lol cuz the rigs I see everyday are set up like that, oh well. So has anyone taken a comparison shot yet of the original axial axles next to these?
