I haven't tested them personally and am not a huge fan of stainless in that location. They are about as good as available stateside though.

Ahh yeah, You rock! gonna order now. I will give feed back. Good or not. Thanks Bro. Also was thinking of switching to Futaba from spektrum. Was thinking the 4PL. Not doing dig or rear steer on the Wraith. However in the future as I become more involved in crawling. I would want those possibilities. 4PL would be suitable. Or is the 4PK the choice one.

The 4PL will do you fine! The 4PK really shines for the hardcore MOA competition guys, no need for it with the Wraith really. You will save yourself a lot of money on the radio and RX's by going with the 4PL.

I have a set of the stainless and like them as well. They just aren't chrome moly so as to the strength. Im not sure.

Thanks, yeah I just have never used them so I have a hard time recommending them. I can't say I really heard much about them good or bad.

I don't follow spectrum products but if the servo is under 300 oz/in then you may be alright. It's usually best to run a BEC still but you can try without it.

its 306 oz/in. its a great servo, but uses some juice. i have the cc bec, just wondering if i could get rid on one switch.

learning all this from this forum has helped me a great deal. my buggy is so fun that 2 of my freinds are looking at getting crawlers because of it.

You may be alright without a BEC but I'd keep the idea open.

No, it's just a useless ESC for a crawler or even trail truck. Not a good choice for this truck.

My wife and I went shopping for a ride for her to play with when I crawl...she wanted a Wraith ....picked one up at the LHS....I told her she had to wait till I read this entire thread before I did anything with the truck.....

A wealth of info in here Harley...you are a great spokesman for this hobby

The motor is alright but brushless should be sensored in a crawler. If you want reliable waterproof, go brushed.
