Brandon, thanks for the info!

If I get a Wraith I will set it as a Crawl-/Trail Rig that´s
why I asking for the spurgear.
A 87t is just right, so you can use motor pinions down to 12t !!!

What's the best upgrade to do to the wraith? Or what would you recomend to do to the wraith to make it more of a crawler truck.

Change the springs to soft springs and regear the truck to 87 spur 14 pinion. Then grab a 35 turn motor when you can.

Do you know the axle width WMS-to-WMS? Is it the same front and rear? The scale crowd will want this info. ;)

I actually left the stock 80/20 gearing and ran a 35T on 3S. Low end still felt great! With the ESC and brushed motor technology the gearing down isn't as necessary for the low end control anymore.

Unless there is another reason you recommend the lower gearing?

Mostly only because of the 20 turn motor. If you can get the 35 turn right away then you are probably definitely right.

I don´t know if anybody drives still Nimh racing packs like I do.

But with a 7.2V battery, Harleys recommendation for the gearing
and the motor looks real good to me

I'm rewireing mine now and in the process of hooking up my 4pl.... Can I just plug the lights in the 3rd channel and use it as an on off switch?

You can plug the lights in and they will work but you will not have any method of switching them on and off. That would require a light controller and this truck does not have that. The circuit board it has just corrects the voltage to the LED's.

I had moved my shock locations to the inner holes already, but I am confused by flipping the link mounts... I don't have the rig in front of me, but I am looking at the PDF, and I can't figure out what you mean.

Thanks!

the link mount is a separate piece held on the axle with screws. thake the links off, take the shocks off, then take the mount off and flip it and remount it

Oh ok, i see it now. It looked like it was all one molded piece in the doc, but after flipping several pages back to the axle section I see it now.

Thanks!

To run the dig, is this the only part # I need. AX30793 other than a servo.

And a 3 channel radio or better. But the dig hasn't been released yet so we will have to see when it comes.
