So how is the Axial servo horn? Or the Robitronic Short (R17021R)?

I realize that the Wraith is not intended/designed purely for speed, but what (MPH) can I expect on pavement with this setup? - MMP, Tekin Pro4 3,300 - 32p 54T spur with 14T pinion - Hyperion 3S, 35C, 4,200 Also, my Wraith flips over very easily. Would the Axial wheel weights help? I already have my battery in the front. |

Steering question: I've read that the Ackerman steering is best for speed stability, however, in one of the threads it mentions locked diffs, I am wondering whether the Ackerman steering is still beneficial for speed the diffs remain locked? Thinking of upgrading to VP and wondering which would be more appropriate. My diffs will remain locked. Mainly bashing and trail walking. Does Ackerman steering hinder crawling or just not benefit it?

Guide was great. I've been really surprised how much of a difference 3 things made: 1. Moving battery forward 2. New wheels/tires w/ weights in front 3. Softer springs |

Hallo Harley! I read some where but do not recall where...some one using different ratio pignon/ spur between front and rear diff. playing with the 38 and 43 t spurs Is there any advantage or how does it effect the driving or is there recommended set up depending on the type of drive you want (like more crawling or bushing)? Many thanks for your reply! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

FYI for all the wraith noobs like me..... The Axial AX2 ESC drag brake is severely lacking. Even when programming it for 100%, it will roll off just about anything over a 10% grade. ....unless I have set it up incorrectly (pretty sure I have it spot on...) |

| Re: Wraith Beginners Guide Your motor and battery both have a big effect. Don't lay all blame on the ESC.

I understand that. My battery is 2s 5200mah 30c lectron pro. It has been great. They even advertise continuous and burst current rates that seem accurate. The only other item in question is the motor, but I've tried a few.. I know a much higher turn motor will add to the effect. |
