Can i mount a HS-7950TH servo without a external BEC?
Would the esc burn out?

Ok,i understand i need a bec and will buy a 5 amp bec.
My other question is:
it is not to strog a 30 kg servo?I'm afraid of breaking something at front axle if one wheel is in difficult to turn.
If so maybe i will remain at 10-12 kg servo because on trail roads i don-t need a very strong servo and i do not like crawling where i think is more needed one.
I asked about that servo because i have a very good offer and wanted to upgrade not realy in need of that kind of servo.

The AE3 ESC will not run a brushless motor. Please read the motor an ESC sticky.

Ahhh, the Vanguard. That is a sensorless ESC. Not recommended. Please go read the motor and ESC sticky.

Why do you go for a smaller pack for crawling? I plan to do trails and crawling but haven't quite finished my wraith. So what battery should I get for all around?

I think 2-3ah 3s packs are great for a rig like the wraith.

I love a good 3s 40c+ 3000-3300mAh pack. Even for a heavy wraith.

Dimensionally that Gens ace pack is huge. Hard to fit.

Very helpful info. Thank you for pages like this, bery informative. I'm basically new to the "newer" r/c crawlers. My experience with something like this dates back to the original Clodbuster, Juggernaut and TXT-1. I decided to buy the kit version (I hate RTR's, no hobby in them) of the Wraith and my first impression is less than stellar. When did a $300 KIT start coming with such things as plastic flanged balls and all the other plastic parts. I understand the need to sell aftermarket parts and upgrades but really? I remember under $100 car kits coming with more metal than this thing. Just wish some of the parts were better quality. To be honest, if I had looked closer at the kit and some of these features, I wouldn't have bought it. I do like the Wraith design, I liked the build and with some of your suggestiong this thing will turn out to be bad a**. With that I say thank you again and keep up the good work from an old "newbie"
