I am thinking about going with 4WS on this rig, but I am not 100% sold on it yet. I think next up is also those VP brake discs and calipers. I also have a wraith kit I am going to start on soon as well.

Can you show how you mounted the spare tire up there? I have a new set of wheels and want to put a spare in to make it more scale. Thanks!

Sure, I can get some pics tonight. Basically I took the spare tire carrier from a dingo body I had laying around.
Axial Roll Cage (part 2) Spare tire carrier
It's the piece on the far right.

I took that off the dingo I had, cut it where it bends near each end, then drilled it out. I then drilled out the frame on the wraith, and used some 3mm flat head screws to attach the thing. I drilled it low to keep the tire from being to high over the roofline. I will take the tire off and get a pic tonight, but that basically how i did it. 15 minutes of work, and it was done, and it looks pretty bad @ss if I do say so myself.

Ok here are pics of what I am talking about. You can see where I cut the bracket, I ended up cutting it a little short, but with a spacer or two, it fits perfect. The screw doesn't come with the bracket piece. It's listed in the dingo kit manual. It's a pretty long screw though.

got a couple outdoor pics. I plan on getting som additional ones this week out on the trail. I also created a insert on top of the receiver box thats velcro'ed to the box, and the hood. then I drilled out the hood screw holes, and screwed the screws in, and then put the hood on the rig. this basically lets me pull the hood off when i want, and the screws make sure it doesn't wiggle at all.

Totally dig this Wraith. How's the droop with the shorter Proline shocks? I'm thinking of running the same shocks to lower my Wraith.

BAD A**!! How did you paint the body? inside or outside? What types of paints did you use? If you painted the outside how is it holding up?
