Default Ldogg's Wraith's

Well fedex just dropped off mine and my son's wraiths. A quick unboxing revealed the scratches on the radio on one of the units. All the links were fine though. The plans are to swap the links out on both with vanquish stuff, along with the steering. Skinz are going to be ordered this week and I am going to swap my wheels for some slw v6 respun. I also want to swap the shocks on both with proline powerstrokes and lower the ride hight a little.

Here's a few pics

So I went out to Palmer Park, PA12 for the locals, at lunch today. only had about 30 minutes to play, but had a blast with this thing. got some pics and video while out there. mind you I was driving and shooting this video on my iphone, so it's not the greatest... Popped a rear shock within about 5 minutes at first, but was able to pop it back onto the screw... Was kinda weird how it popped off, but was a quick fix. Overall I was impressed with how it behaved stock, and can't wait to take it out again.

PA12 is where I took mine the first time I found it crawled better with the shocks moved to the inner most holes both front and rear

I will have to play around with that then.. Thanks! That was the first time I had been to pa12 and I was impressed with the area. I usually turn at the first left when entering from academy. What other spots over there are decent? I drove back to lazyland, but it seemed more flat. I didn't walk around there though.

Cool. So I moved the shock locations in to the inner most hole front and back and I like the height. Was thinking about tweaking the shock setting too...

ok, flipped the link mounts and moved the shocks to the inner hole. I also swapped in a new hitec 5645 servo.

here's mine next to my son's. I had not moved anything on his when this pic was taken.

Ordering skinz this week, and vanquish links next week.

With those drivers, I think it looks more like a Puma.

haha.

Lowered my sons Wraith tonight, and had to move the pinion. it was not catching the spur gear completely so I had to tear his down, and set it. not to big a deal though.

Can't wait for my vanquish order to get here, and I am working on the skin design with FreqE.
