Default My Wraith body work

Hello all.

I know I am among a plethora of talented people on this forum.
The scale builds are remarkable.

I just wanted to share my work of the aluminum skins I made for my Wraith.

I am very pleased as to how they came out.
They took me about 3 hrs. to complete.
I did it all with hand tools. Some power & some not.
I sill have to do a little touch up here & there.

Once I get the roof made & get a clear stock hood, I will paint it all up.

Thank you.

Update 7-1-2011

Finished up the roof today.

Update 7-11-2011

Made a light mount & winch plate w/anti flex bars.
Waiting on hardware then I'll bolt it all up. I'm curious to see how it holds up.

update 7-13-2011

Limit Straps

Rears are a tad short. Might have to add 1/16" more.

Love it. I don't have the skills to do that but I'm half tempted to see if our sheetmetal shop can come up with something for me when my Wraith finally shows up.

Looks great.

Thank you. I'm no sheet metal guy, but I keep practicing.

It would be a lot easier with the proper tools, Like a brake & sheer!

Great looking work. Are you going to keep them raw or paint them?

Very impressive especially since you only used hand tools be they power or not. I have known guys that with the proper tools could not have made something that nice so a big to you man!

I am with Harley, really loving the boat sides, that was a nice touch indeed.

Nice work! Some custom skid plates would look killer. Just out of curiosity, what tools did you use?

I like the way it wraps under and covers the plastic chassis sides. Would have been a smart move to do that to mine before I beat the snot out of them.
