Default Steel links coming?

I see Vanquish has released Ti links for the Wraith. How long until some others release steel or aluminum versions? Will Vanquish offer another version for the budget minded crowd? I can't really afford the Ti parts.

Is there a strong advantage using Ti over aluminum? Is weight the reason to use Titanium, or is it to give some extra suspension?

Vanquish stuff looks real nice, so if no one else releases cheaper versions, I will have to spend the money to go with Vanquish, but I'm trying to keep my costs reasonable and there are many upgrades to do.

Thanks...

Axial will have aluminum kits. I would avoid CKRC for anyone who isn't aware of their level of CS, do a search.

Ti is much stronger than Al. I have bent countless aluminum bent links. I dont like to use aluminum for bent links unless they are machined.

Thanks. I guess I'm underestimating the amount of abuse the links take.

If you plan to have any sort of speed in your Wraith they will take even more abuse.

Ti is lighter than steel but still heavier than Al. Ti is purely about strength.

Titanium has the highest strength to weight ratio of any metal.

Depending on the Alloy, it's about the same strength as steel but half the weight, and roughly twice the strength of Aluminum but only weighs about 50% more. It is also extremely corrosion resistant.

If you are only worried about low weight, use Aluminum. If you are only worried about strength, us Steel. If you want both high strength and low weight, use Titanium.

I'm cheap so I ordered Delrin links for mine.
