Thumbs up Rocka“s Wraith Rock Crawler

Hi guys,

this is a small summary of the first Axial Wraith from germany.
First steps out of box showed: Whow, this thing is fast!

Well - I prefer running low speed/gears and scale speed - means no "Trailjumper"
Minor mods like relocation of the ESC in place of the receiver box to get some space for a sticklipo under the hood and getting a dean connection to the lipo, then followed a stronger Hitec 7950 servo...

DH Procomp fully loaded plus XR10 knuckles/hubs/knuckleweights ~ 1000 gr in front

Well, now I got my VP Wraithknuckles, the VP steering link, a 20/87 metall gearing, VP Ti-Link kit, Proline Titus rubberducked with Roklox on all 4 corners 7 T HH cobalt puller - damn, this thing is strong, I mean, really strong on 3S... the driveshafts just said "Knock", MIP in the rear and a Losi CC drive shaft in front do it well untill now

On the trail, I“m running 2 4000 mAh Stick lipos, one in front under the hood and one in the rear (oem place) - so it“s at least more drivetime then I need over a day ...

Playtime: 3 S in the rocks .-)

Time to get a MIP-kit for the front drive shaft clearing the trannyhousing...

So long, waiting for my friends Wraith to play around...

Greets rocka

No, if you use the stock steering link and the vp XR10 Knuckles, it clears under the links und behind the pumpkin.
But it will scratch over all rocks -> no real gain! to get the bta working well, you have to bend a titanium link between the links and the driveshaft. So I switched back to the oem place in front of the axle...

Nothing looks better than a properly used truck. Nice one.

The mud actually adds to the realism. Better clean out your drivers eyes though so you don't have a wreck
