Default my wraith

got my wraith the other day. did a few things. put a set of rc4wd coilovers on it painted the body and mounted some new shoes.

i had trouble with the rc4wd stamped steel wheels fitting on the front. i had to grind the inner lip off the rim to get it to fit. anyone else try and put a set of these wheels on one yet?

I bumped up to a 22 tooth and it's a bit faster with the stock motor and ESC. Still seems to crawl as well, although I really need to add some weight and get the battery moved.

yup i did, i noticed they were rubbing on the metal part of the knuckle so i just ground it down flush to the knuckle and that fixed it.

110mm. same length as the stock ones at full extension. but they make the truck handle at speed much better. actually slides in the dirt rather than hook roll haha

took this out on the rocks for the first time today. only thing i changed (as u see in the pics) were the shocks, tires, and painted the body. i was running a 5400mah 2s lipo. all stock electronics.

i was not impressed.

motor got super hot. servo basically just stopped working when tires got even the slightest bit hung up. also seemed like the COG was a lil too high for my liking. oh and as you all know the steering links suck.

i went straight home ordered the metal steering kit. put in a hitech hs5645mg. Novak Goat brushless 17t pinion. angled the shocks back a bit which lowered it maybe 1/4". went back outside pouring rain so 2nd test run will be tmr

i also flipped the rear shock mounts upside down and that lowers it a bit.
