Thumbs down Steering servo horn question.

Hello all you lucky wraith owners. I have had my wraith ordered at a local hobby store since the middle of may and they still have not received it. I know i could have personally ordered it and got it faster, but i wanted to support my lhs. I now the steering link is weak so i have already purchased an aluminum one from rpp. But i do not know what servo horn to get, can someone tell me what number of teeth the stock servo has. thanks alot very much appreciated. links would be awesome but just the specs would be great!

also depend on weather you chaning the steering link as a few people have change that becasue its to soft and then they seem to strip the server horn or servo gears so you may even need to get a server hor with a servo saver on it as well

I think that a good ol Hitec 645-MG is what alot of guys use that
are on a budget.

Not too sure its gonna be sufficient to move them beefy Ripsaws when on the rocks though...drop as much green as possible for a servo...you will
enjoy the rig alot more.

I would drop the $$$ for this one..either post a WANTED ad here on the forum for a used one or check out RPP hobby,...i think they are on $ALE

The Hitec 645 really isn't much better than the stocker. Just run it until you can get the one you really want.

yea ill probably do what you said harley, just run the stocker until i can get the best! oh and whiplash thats seems like a pretty sweet deal, plenty of torque too. wish i could snag one but just aint got the coin. my 1:1 takes all of it! lol. thanks for all of the suggestions keep them coming. Are there any off brands that are good and just not a lot of people run them because they are not name brand. or is there not any good off brand servos? thank you guys.

the hitec is awesome but i think that savox is the way to go. 222oz. for 40 bucks now that i can do. i will go to the hobby shop wednesday when they open to see if they have one! under 50 bucks and stronger than stock. to me that equals awesomeness. thanks guys this is the kind of stuff that i was looking for when i started this thread. thanks for the great responses. keep em' coming.
