It's easier than you think. Thanks though. I'm an inspiration! It only takes a few key changes to make a unique rig of your own. | ||

Howdy,1st off I really like the build, really nice craftmanship and creativity. Questions, the 1st vid you posted you was doing back flips...looked like fun and has sold me on this kit. But what voltage and runing gear was you useing? |

| Joined RCC a few years ago, i enjoy driving me crawlers for sure, but what i really enjoyed about this forum was it's humour and the amount of out-of-the-box thinkers on here. So many epic build threads where the builders have done something different simply because they wanted to, they came up against problems and engineered and fabricated their way around them all. Just lately though there seems to be a different theme on here, with so many pretty much identical builds and most of those builds just bolting on other peoples solutions. Nothing wrong with that, personally i don't have the patience or skills to do builds anywhere near your level, so i have also taken the easy route and bolted on other peoples solutions. So i'm not having a go at people, but it does make boring reading after a while, so i do enjoy reading build threads like yours even though they seem to be getting rarer and rarer. So mucho respect for having the balls to chop up a fairly new kit. Mucho respect for doing your own thing and not following the pack Mucho respect for your patience and skills Mucho, mucho, mucho respect for having the balls to drive it like it should be after all that hard work though. Great build thread, thanks Cheers Mark |

Aside from the killer scale appearance how do you like the performance of the tires?

Absolutely amazing build.. ive only been in this stuff for maybe a year and I love the detail you put into these cars. I wish I had the time to make something like you do, i'd love to have that sitting on my desk taunting me to play with it. Just curious, what song did you use in that video? I need some snowboarding music this season |

| Re: n00b's Toyota Wraith
So, im not usually much for build threads of my own, but i figured i could at least do the right thing, and update this one with some progress of this rig. first off, i drive this rig, it's not a shelf queen, and it is a blast to drive. so dont expect it to be all pretty and scratch free like it was when i got it... . after smoking the stock 27t that came in it, i opted for a HH Crawlmaster 16t that i had from a XR rig. and bumped the servo up to a Hitec HS-7955. left the stock esc in it for now, as it has a bec, so its good for a while, but it will eventually get a BR-XL. swapped out the powerstroke scaler shocks for some powerstroke slash shocks for more cushion. wasn't feelin the rims, so i went with the MT sidebiters to match the tires, as the Baja Claws are the best looking tire for this particular rig(i've tried most scale 2.2's). heres a few pics of it from a couple weeks ago while trying out different wheels/tires... and heres the pile of goodies that are in store for it...
