I have the felsenfest no-slop lockers and was wondering if I needed to run the factory gasket
dont mean to hi-jack this thread but i saw you had bought some as i did but didn't use them in my first assembly

i DID use the gasket with the XHD lockers. i tried several different combos of gasket or no gasket, and shims on the pinion, or no shims, and i found it was the smoothest with the factory gasket and no shims on the pinion.

axles are complete...









ohh, and dont pay any attention to the extra upper front link, i forgot to remove it when adding the 3-link w/ panhard setup...

I think you built the axles wrong. You have the steering on the rear axle. The way you have them built the diffs will be on the wrong side.

I see what he's saying. The front diff should be on the driver side and it looks like it's on the passenger side?

tinycrites, there is no front and rear axle housing. They are exactly the same. You just have to flip it over. But, unless I'm thinking wrong, they look backwards to me as well.

Yes I knew the axles were the same, you get what I'm saying. The vanquish panhard mount should be on the long side. It should look like this one.

I built my axles this way because i wanted them to resemble a 1:1 Toyota Hilux. I cant recall seeing too many Yotas with the differential on the drivers side?







And its also pretty common to see Dana 60's with the diff on the passenger side as well...
