| Re: --- Crawler Innovations "White Lightning Wraith" --- Since the release of the Axial Wraith, I have received many requests for taller 2.2 cut n shut tires. As Crawler Innovations grows, my time becomes more & more limited. That makes it impossible for me to deliver custom tire orders in a timely matter. So I accept only a few orders at a time and it often takes weeks to get those done. A local ETXRCC club member (Paul) was willing to wait and he allowed a blank canvas to work with. I wanted something tall and different and this is what I came up with for his Axial Wraith. 6.5" Tall, R35 compound, Axial Ripsaws with Panther Cougar sidewalls. 6.5" Ripsaw on Left; 5.5" Sedona on Right: 6.5" Ripsaw on Left; 5.5" Sedona on Right: It has been well over a year that I have been receiving requests for a better quality foam for the scale rc crawler community as well. They needed a foam that would support the weight of custom scalers, and I felt we needed a better foam system than the first one I designed. I wanted to release a foam in a new material no one had tried in crawlers before. I wanted it to be water proof and not break down like conventional foam. I also wanted something better for tall 2.2 tires and faster vehicles. Myself and a few others have been working together on this for 8 months. We tested 4 different proto types before finally putting a design into production (and will be available for sale early February). Pictured below is one of those proto type closed cell inner. The 2.2 bead lock wheel is a Vanquish Products, V3 - Respun; 1.35" width; SLW. The inner foam is a 6.0" Closed Cell inner that is 1.75" width. The tire bead area of the inner foam has been machined to allow clearance for the tire to seat into the bead lock. The outer is (the standard or conventional foam) 6.0" Double Deuce with tuning ring. On Paul's wraith we ran medium outers in the front and firm outers in the back. The machined Double Deuce closed cell inner: Tire height comparison with an Axial Wraith in the back ground. Mounted on the customer's Wraith: My son's Wraith on the left with 6.0" Tall Rovers & Paul's Wraith on the right with 6.5" Tall Ripsaws: |

Forgive my noobieness (is that a word LOL) but I noticed you lowered the rear by flipping the rear top mounts, how did you lower the front? Forgive me if I missed it. Also looking to get the front battery/esc tray. Didn't see them on the site. thanks

I like the tire mods. It'll make the width of the wraith axles much more scale, and bring the 2.2 wheels closer to a scale wheel. Very interesting! The only thing I'm not sure of is the new height relative to the width? I really wish 1/8 scale was the norm for all scale builds...it'd be much nicer to drive and work on. I'll keep dreaming. |

These Inner Foams are strong. Very stiff and the sidewall wont cave. The outer foams did great also. Now I just need a set of foams for my Rok Loks

The website is preferred. I use paypal to process all my transactions. You don't have to have a paypal account to pay for your order though. You can use any major credit or debit card. But I do not have a way to process orders over the phone. | |

| Re: --- Crawler Innovations "White Lightning Wraith" --- Nearly 8 months since my last post on this thread... Here is how it looked, back in January. It has now undergone a complete rebuild. I am constantly asked where this motor came from and I do not know. It came in a customer consignment sale lot. The speed and high speed rolls ruined it though: |

| Re: --- Crawler Innovations "White Lightning Wraith" --- Here are some current pictures of the "White Lightning Wraith". It's no longer a go fast basher. My son's blue jeep wraith was traded away to a RCC vendor at the beginning of the summer. I never did a build thread on it, but here is a picture of it: With that wraith traded off, I needed something to test crawler parts on so the white lightning wraith was made more of a crawler. It now has a 7.75 gear ratio which works great with the 6" tires. Here's a picture of the 62T 32P Spur with the interior out; Jerry of DMG made me some of his steel front bumper tubes and his front shock tower & brace to lower the ride height; |

| Re: --- Crawler Innovations "White Lightning Wraith" --- Carter Fab & Machine had made these custom panels for me months before anyone else had them. Unfortunately they sat in the shop until I finally got around to rebuilding this truck some time back in April for ECC. During the rebuild I painted a kit hood white, and had a new white canvas top made. New kit interior I painted white and stickered up; I really like how the custom panels enclose the bed area. Always kick ass parts from CFM; I had to change up the rear lights. The axles were also rebuilt including VP trusses and diff covers: Under the hood area; Bottom with the boat sides; |
