Yup, Rc4wd is the place for scale shocks.
Figuring out the panels. Gonna paint the chassis a light blue. Panels will be aluminum.

Thinking on the rear roof section, getting some very thin blue tinted lexan to cover the outer triangles an the center piece will be aluminum. That way rear passengers are protected from the Texas sun

The only ones I found on rc4wd are the ones with the reservoir built on to the shock cap. Did u make yours remote style??? Are they functional?? Your rig is sweet!!

That's correct. You'll be hard pressed to find a part that I purchase and just leave alone. I think the only thing like that are my seats from Team3six. They are perfect. I just need him to whip me up a bench seat to match. Hint hint. NORM!!

Well shit!!
Got my rear housing and shafts, and the shafts are wrong. I think I can save them but it's gonna suck trying. I don't have any small machinery to work with, which is the only reason I jobbed them out to start. Plus in order to run this axle in this chassis, I have to flip the trans, that puts the spur gear in the drivers seat, and no way in hell I'm cutting these seats.

So, will there be a mutiny if I run the Titans with this truck. Still a kick ass, one off set of housings, and may be better with this heavier chassis. I promise the Ultimate 9s will still be used, but probably best to go with the titanium chassis that is in the works.

Use the titans bro. The ultimate 9s and a titanium chassis? That's like peanut butter and jelly.

True, true.
Titans it is then.
Got the chassis drilled for the side panels today. Got the sides, roof pieces, and possible "tailgate" rough cut. Had to order some small taps so the waiting game begins.

Little update. I had success with tapping the holes for the panels with 2-56. Got all the roof pieces done, just waiting on the blue tint to show up for the rear passengers to have some shade.

Got the servo mount and Tyler's nice track bar mount located 3/4" forward.

Thinking about mounting the radiator back here?

Tint is a no go. To thin and will get ripped apart quickly. Gonna keep looking for something that is at least .020" or see about just tinting some regular lean sheet. I have a stock of thin gauge clear here.

On another note, I whipped this bad boy up earlier. Needs a new home. First of its kind, centered diff steering axle Wraith width ready to go. All parts are brand new. Just install servo and linkage and let er eat! Has Axial universals already installed that we're custom machined for this housing. Posted on my FB page first but will go up on here tomorrow morning if it's still around.

Sandwich the tint between two sheets of lexan.

I haven't found any clear blue lexan yet. I think they make something like that for planes maybe.
