Just like this pic. Wish VP would offer the diff cover with the extra hardware

Rebuilding the shocks for a fun run tomorrow. Had to take a break from the panel work.

Got the new bead look rings mounted on my 1:1 so we can access all the good spots in the park. Was a beating torquing all the bolts.

Loaded up

Bought time for some new skins

Had a blast today running the trucks and got some decent video also. Was pretty successful as far as breakage also.
Only lost one knuckle screw(trail repair) in a basically stock Wraith, loose motor wire on the Wraith, one Maxx shaft in the truggy(trail repair), a head light grille on my sons rig that I loaned out for the day, and a broke upper link bolt on the 1:1.
Do need to ditch the slipper completely from my truck though. It ended up backing off a bit by the end of the day making simple stuff not possible. Also stripped the front axle down when I got home and added set screws to the C hubs for added security. Shocks worked much better also with the new oil and fresh rebuild.

Southern Comfort will be goin up for sale in the coming weeks. I have had an absolute blast with it, been honored to have Adam Woodlee and Ricky Baker share it through the 1:1 world, and help show the skills that the vendors on this forum have to offer.
Will be selling it as a roller only.
Going to strip it down, repaint the chassis, fresh panels, and give her a fresh bearing rebuild from Fast Eddy.
I will include the final parts description in the for sale ad when I get it posted.
I will notify you here when that time comes so please don't hound me with pms about price and when.

Well the truck has been sold to a customer of mine, not sure what his screen name here is. I will be stripping it down and giving it a complete refresh before shipping it off to sunny California.

Attachment 251843
Looks better than it ever has.
New panels are going on tomorrow and them she's out of my life. :(
Attachment 251844
We also added more supports for the front stinger this go round but I flint she'll get abused like before. I would have a hard time doing it again.

I'm going to miss seeing this rig. Hopefully the new owner can post up some shots to keep it in the high graces of the forum.

Ill find out if he's on here or not. I'm thinking he is since the CFM FB page wasn't very strong back then.

Everything is for sale. Just the way it is when running a business. I can't get attached to things or I would go out of business.
What's next?
I don't know. I was building "Showcase", a G6 ready Wraith and it's already been purchased as well. It should be done first of next week.
We have another build going on in the 1.9 section called "Rock Spyder", although it looks like it may be going back to a 2.2 if the 1.9s don't work out as intended. Maybe I'll hang on to it long enough to drive. We'll see....

It's gonna be hard sending this one off but its all done and cleaner than the first time around somehow.

Made a new radiator mount this go round

Two of my personal rigs that are both going to new homes next week. I didn't even get a chance to run Showcase.

We have builds going on constantly. stay booked months ahead. We don't do the same thing twice and we build any style rig from 18 wheelers to crawlers, to sand cars, to trophy trucks. We are also the only shop to offer everything out of one shop for a rig so you don't have to ship stuff to multiple builders. We offer simple parts or turn key RTR rigs.
Here's the one we just finished for a customer on Christmas.

Build thread in the scx10 section.

Too cool... taking them to Barnwell Mountain. I haven't been for a while. I hate all the red dust... deep down in the AC vents. So, did you climb DeWoody?
