| pins in dog bone
any one have the pin move or slide on the end of the dog bone? mine has done this twice now locking up the front end from turnig and steering..

| Havent had that happen but have had the dogbone come out of the c cup and locked everything up and caused a tranny gear to fail.

pull the inner axle out put a small o-ring on it slide it back in,this keeps it in cup deeper |

deeper in the cup wont help....its like there needs to be a set screw in the end of the axle to hold the pin in place

Aren't the pins press fit into the dogbone end? If so you may have had enough stress on it to wear and get sloppy.

From the sounds of what the OP is saying the pin actually came loose from the dogbone itself.

Center the pin and put a dab of red locktite on it. Let it sit for a day before you use it. I've done this on a TLT dogbone before. It's worth a try.

| Get some loctite 609 its a Retaining compound made for stuff like this. Its some Real tough stuff. |
