I will release the price when I begin selling them, but I guarantee the price will be competitive with a factory replacement body, which retails for $37.

That is with a few features not currently offered on other bodies, and being designed & manufactured in the US by John and myself. To the non-US RCC members.... This is not meant as an insult. A popular trend is to manufacture items for a greatly reduced price overseas in countries such as China. I am not willing to gamble product quality or having our products easily copied and re-sold on Ebay.

Will the hood be easily removable for those of us who have moved our battery out front?

The hood will have to be cut along the body lines and at the base of the cowl, and hinges (such as zip ties) would have to be added, in order to make the hood easily removable. The two body mounting posts at the front of the hood could then be used to hold the hood down while running it.

I'm taking some of this idea from Neil L, as I have his Wraith in my possession right now........

If I get enough requests for a cowl induction hood, I will consider selling them as an accessory. Then the customer will have to make it a removable hood as I listed above.

I like the idea of a cowl induction hood.

Funny you should mention that.....

We had to adjust the hood for proper fitment, and agreed to cut back on the amount of taper in the front fenders.

Right now that taper is pretty much equivalent with the 1:1 Blazer.

I sneak in a few minutes here and there to check up on a few threads....

So far, this thread has been helpful for a few design changes.

i like the idea of having the door area formed like that, for 'driver access' but if it was offered without it id still buy one
