I'm taking a break from a marathon machining weekend, so I thought I would address the (optional) cowl induction hood design....... Do you guys want to see a cowl induction hood like this, or.... - Wider? - Taller? |

I like the second one, but no bigger. In fact, I'm fine with no cowl hood at all.

I actually like the first one, Not everyone will be able to use the higher cowl on their build. Maybe you can make it where people can order just a hood from you. That would be Ideal as everyone loves the capability to have a hood open. Just saying.

A stock hood will be what comes on the body. I was making a cowl induction hood as an accessory. | |

I think it needs to be a little taller, just my opinion.

Wow, I love 72 Chevys! Nice work. I'm just going to start building my first Wraith and that will be a good fit for me. I like the shorter hood best. |

If I can find space, I will most likely make a short, and taller cowl induction hood. I ran a little over 25 hours of high speed CNC time on the mold this weekend...... |

definatly taller on the optional cowl hood. 2.5"-3.5" rise is the most popular cowl in the 1:1 world. |

Yes I agree a tall cowl is sweet... That blue chevy is the ticket... Man that's sweet.. That cowl would really give the k5 a mean aggressive look.. I was thinking just using the cowl as a option part and glueing it on like the hpi bronco blower type deal... That way you would have the stock hood and if you wanted you could cover it with the taller meaner looking cowl... That's just my opinion though.. Keep up the hard work man.. That thing will be done quickly.. Hellz yeah J-bird |

I vote for the lower cowl. Cowls, we don't need no stinking cowls.. LOL... Sorry, watched Blazing Saddles the other night. Can't wait for this to be done. Chassis construction is waiting on this body... |
