Default Pulled the trigger....she is on the way.

So I went back and forth so many times on this rig. I prefer the scx10 for what it is, and tried my best not to fold....but I had to try it. So I sold some stuff on ebay and she is now on the way fro AMAIN. With the 10% OFF labor day special it came out to $341. Not to shabby and this help make the decision.

There will be some MORE wraith take offs in the FOR SALE section in a few days. lol. I already have wheels and tires. Tekin ESC, Holmes 15t custom hand-wound.

If someone wouldn't mind telling me the best solution they have found, that is performance geared, to lower their Wraith I would love to know. This is my first order of operation but I don't want to buy new links and shocks just yet.

Is it a 15t Crawlmaster or Torquemaster?

Just flip the shock mounts and lay the shocks down to lower it of you aren't going to replace them. I chose to replace them and went with 3.5" Proline Powerstrokes for the Slash.

I would not run that motor if you are going to have the truck in a bind ever. A 27t or higher is really what you want for any trail/rock type application.

Is it the way this motor preforms or is it because in a bind it would do damage to the drive shafts?

It is because of how the motor performs when bound up. You are likely to burn it up quickly when bound up. Any motor with that low of turns will suffer from that. I am running an 11t CM which is roughly equivalent to a 27t 3 pole motor like a Torquemaster.

It's a 5 slot armature as opposed to a 3 slot. Much smoother than a 3 pole still with good torque and drag brake.

I too went with slash powerstrokes, 30 wt oil. I flipped both, the rear axel mount and the chassis mount. With most vertical position. Rear only, front is normal. Due to rear shocks are longer than the front. Short course setup. Robbed them from my hpi blitz. Beefy shock's for a beefy truck!
