Having owned a swarbar setup on a 1:1 Vehicle (as pictured) i have always been a HUGE fan of their capability's and the potential for amazing handling gains... Did i mention they look bad ass ?

I figured the bar's were going to be way to stiff to be used for my application, so i cut up one of the non milled bar's (3 pairs of different bars,6 total) so i could atleast enjoy the aesthetic appeal of a bar... There is Nothing like seeing a swaybar arm move and doing its thing @ speed... If you havent seen it, i suggest you look up some offroad video's.. Pretty rad stuff.

Here you can see i used a collet w/ set screw to keep the "bar" in place.

Alright. Little update.

Went to Pro-Lines powerstroke shocks, Front's for the Front, and Rear's for the Rear.. After trying the fronts in the rear before buying the second set - i felt it needed a little more shock shaft, so - the combination worked great. Also ditched the Level 3 lowering kit and just flipped the stock rear mount.

D-LUX Bushings are a must have for these.Great way to spend $17.

Some new skins - needed some color... Waiting for my VP's and Mayhems to return, Until then - Axial 8 holes it is .

More to come.. (Canon is charging also,iPhone 3gs is a little outdated.)

Because of your truck, I picked up a set of the Vanquish rims in the same size with the same offset as yours and I too am popping beadlocks off of mine. Please post up what fix you figure out for this because I was thinking I had the wrong width rims or something. Thanks.

I have a 55t venom and a 55t axial now, but im fine with getting something if it give me what i need. Also, i should have gotten the 7955 servo, im kicking myself for getting a 5645MG digital.

I found most standard 55T dont like 2s power, and i was looking at brushless, but i always thought a low turn brushless was built for speed, not torque. Brushless can't get wet unless your sensorless but then you get cogging. brushed is the way to go for crawlers. You just gotta find the right motor for your rig.

Any ideas?
Talk to john over at holmes hobbies. He is a pro and he always suggests to power up and then gear down to get the best of both worlds. plus there is just a whole different world when you go from 2s to 3s. You get way more torque and way more speed. I would suggest getting a 3s lipo from hobby people they got freakin great prices. Put a Holmes Hobbies torquemaster pro motor and you will be shocked. Something like a 35T. His motors crawl so slow and smooth its freakin amazing.

Your rig is looking awesome, great info in your build thread also. I am new to this RC craze so forgive me on the questions. I am building up a Wraith and also have a Slash with the ProLines on it, they work great on my Slash but I am wounding what was the gain you seen using them on your Wraith? Better articulation for getting over obstacles I am guessing. I am new to the crawling side of things but understand suspension so feel free to elaborate on anything you could provide. I was looking at longer stroke shocks for my Wraith but it seems everyone is not really going longer so why I am alittle confused on my Wraith build.

Again awesome rig and great info you have laid out.
