Went out in the wet today to "Boot" rock in Santee. Cool little hike/trail for scalers and what not. |

Front swaybar setup. Im using the softest bar (Biggest mill spot) and its still to soft, i'll probably do like i did on the rear VV Last edited by DiEzel; 11-10-2011 at 06:22 PM. |

Having owned a swarbar setup on a 1:1 Vehicle (as pictured) i have always been a HUGE fan of their capability's and the potential for amazing handling gains... Did i mention they look bad ass ? I figured the bar's were going to be way to stiff to be used for my application, so i cut up one of the non milled bar's (3 pairs of different bars,6 total) so i could atleast enjoy the aesthetic appeal of a bar... There is Nothing like seeing a swaybar arm move and doing its thing @ speed... If you havent seen it, i suggest you look up some offroad video's.. Pretty rad stuff. Here you can see i used a collet w/ set screw to keep the "bar" in place. Last edited by DiEzel; 11-17-2011 at 10:54 AM. |

Alright. Little update. Went to Pro-Lines powerstroke shocks, Front's for the Front, and Rear's for the Rear.. After trying the fronts in the rear before buying the second set - i felt it needed a little more shock shaft, so - the combination worked great. Also ditched the Level 3 lowering kit and just flipped the stock rear mount. D-LUX Bushings are a must have for these.Great way to spend $17. Some new skins - needed some color... Waiting for my VP's and Mayhems to return, Until then - Axial 8 holes it is . More to come.. (Canon is charging also,iPhone 3gs is a little outdated.) Last edited by DiEzel; 11-11-2011 at 01:00 PM. |

Because of your truck, I picked up a set of the Vanquish rims in the same size with the same offset as yours and I too am popping beadlocks off of mine. Please post up what fix you figure out for this because I was thinking I had the wrong width rims or something. Thanks.

Your rig is looking awesome, great info in your build thread also. I am new to this RC craze so forgive me on the questions. I am building up a Wraith and also have a Slash with the ProLines on it, they work great on my Slash but I am wounding what was the gain you seen using them on your Wraith? Better articulation for getting over obstacles I am guessing. I am new to the crawling side of things but understand suspension so feel free to elaborate on anything you could provide. I was looking at longer stroke shocks for my Wraith but it seems everyone is not really going longer so why I am alittle confused on my Wraith build. Again awesome rig and great info you have laid out. | |
