I also had an idea for making dimple die'd panels. Every body that has an axial has the parts to do it. Just a counter sunk screw, the green counter sunk spacer that axial makes and a backing nut. It works like a charm.

Ok, for the most part this thing is done. I just need to get some stickers for the striping and don't know if I want to leave the rear panel natural or paint it black. Here's some pictures for now.













And the last one is with it and it's inspiration.

Just saw this. I left the paint the same as it is in the pics. I just picked up some more Wraith axles so I don't know if this is getting them or if I'm gonna build a southern buggy.

heyy man, i just came across this thread by accident. so glad it did!!!, the rear cage mod you did, is the nicest and cleanest ive seen. flawless work. keep it up

It's a bolt in affair. I haven't found any issues with them under there except for a little less stability than AR60 axles.

Sent you a pm. But for others to see, it's just screen door mesh that I had laying around. Got it at Lowe's, they have a couple different kinds. I would get the black vinyl in the future.
