Harley said that replacing the gears with a bls157 set is the strongest.

I think replacing the servo with a 7950 is the strongest....

Don't get me wrong, I love my hitecs. But if you already have some futaba servos that you might want to use in something else, using the bls157 gears might make more sense than the stock gears.

Thats why I originally put them on the truck.....I already had them. Then, I broke a gear. Not a problem....only $30 for a gearset. I can make the main gear last through two breaks (cut off the stop and flip the gear around). I have had to buy at least 5 gearsets for these servos. At some point a person realizes they must cut their loss and buy a product that isnt going to blow up on each run....

In fact, I have the rear steer on this truck setup exactly like I do on my Super.....so driving one or the other is good practice for both.
Mine also has RS and its the first rc ive had with it. It either helps me out big time or puts me in a bad spot, about 50/50 it seems. Practice will help the most im sure as i suck at rs right now

I have not been able to keep the Maxx shafts from breaking rather quickly. Ive even tried strengthening the inner part of the male shaft and it just shifted the weak point to the yoke ears.

In preparation for the upcoming G6 at nats, I installed a set of MIPs. I had to use the longer yokes on both ends of the rear shaft to get the length I needed.

It's about time!!! I can hear the squeaking already!

What's different on yours? I have the Wraith MIP kit, it fit fine?

Yeah, I will certainly miss those smooth and quiet Maxx shafts...

The flipped rear axle added to the length.

Why did you flip the rear?

Well hell, I dunno then. These were AX10 MIPs. I thought they were the same as the wraith MIPs except the longer yokes. Is that not true?

IIRC, the shafts are longer. Let me go measure...

MIP's, I've had great luck in my rigs. I have yet to break one.
