I just completed a few upgrades to this truck.

Under the hood now sits the battery using a "necessarily modified" CKRC battery mount :

I also installed a set of RC4WD aluminum bumper braces. They REALLY stiffen up the front bumper!

I mounted the ESC to the bottom of the battery tray:

New aluminum shock bodies and caps:

I also upped the fluid to 42.5 and 50 (pass rear)...still running the stock purple springs.

The rear battery tray is now gone and I've installed a rear servo......

More progress tomorrow evening....

Yeah, it sure is nice! The one I got didnt come with a fairlead or its mounting plate so I will need to make one....but that shouldn't be too big of a deal.

Winches are cool and can earn some extra scale points but after Eddie's G6 Im not sure its worth all the effort Imo.

Last weekend I broke the rear locker (full throttle wheelies and big rocks dont play well together ). So, I upgraded!

And I used some leftover stock parts:

Yes, I know the rear knuckles are on backward, but I could not find the two small steering arms. I will hopefully fix this soon.

Is your servo hitting the front of the tray before the shocks bottom out? I modded the tray but carving off the front for servo clearance, doing away with the front mounting point for the radio box. Servo now hits the box instead, so I'm gonna move that aft.

Actually no.....the tray, when bolted up properly, would contact the spur cover. I had to really trim that area.

Oh yeah, I had to carve that end, too.

Wow that is some bad grammar and spelling. Don't know how it is the worst looking since it almost looks just like everyone else's. You saying everyone else's wraith looks bad?

Your right, he needs to pack this thing up and send it to you. You seem like a level headed nice guy.
