Axial Wraith Spare tire builds
 

Seems this idea is getting popular. And i have to admit i will be doing this soon to a wraith. So i was wondering if people who have done this could start posting their pics up. Get a thread going of KOH style rigs going. Once i start working on mine ill post it up.

Just used some basic hardware, Axial body post, and some scrap metal to throw this together for the AWCC G6. Worked great, and the body clip made it easy for quick tire changes.

used a proline cgr rollcage spare tire carrier..
fits perfect in between the post..

I just have the spare zip tied in till I figure out a way to attach it in a not so permanent manner.

Hey winkscrawler those wheel's look nice,"thumbsup" I've been looking at a set like that for my wraith. I saw them on another scale r/c forum the other day. Are Those are the mayhem wheel's.

I used a Honcho Spare tire mount and a Alum Plate.

Has anyone tried mounting a spare "Dakar " style yet? Standing vertical between the rear cage drops? The spot where the battery is supposed to go is pretty low, but not sure if it's wide enough. If I had my truck in hand, I'd try it.:roll:

Anyone done this yet?

I just used a scx10 shock hoop and screwed it to the Wraith batt tray.
I drilled the center hole out in the shock hoop just a bit to fit a 3mm button head screw from the back.
I then used a body post and attached it to the shock hoop with the screw.
Then I used a plastic wheel hex and drilled it out to fit over the body post.
Put a pin in one of the holes and put the hex on.
Place whatever size wheel and tire you wish.
Secure with body pin and makes it easy to remove,(I think someone said that part already).:mrgreen:
