Default Diff issue while building Wraith kit.

Ok, getting late and i am going nuts here. I know i am doing it the right way, but if i look at the directions it says i am installing the diff backwards in the housing. For the front, install the diff with the gear facing the short side. Installed as per the pics. Easy enough. But when i turn it clockwise (direction my rtr driveshaft turns to go foreward) the diff goes in reverse. But I watch a few build videos, and that is the way it says to install it. Am i missing something? Awful tired at this point, so maybe?!?
