What are your thoughts on using a mamba max pro esc with the novak sensored brushless 25.5 motor? Advice on gearing if it would be good set up. Forgot to mention, my Wraith is heavy and used for G6 style scale runs and occasional low speed technical crawling. Thanks. Last edited by 90Finder; 05-26-2013 at 02:41 AM. Thanks Harley, that's what I was afraid of with that motor. I'll stick with the esc and wait to go brushless till I get another motor.

So I am about to build a wraith based 2.2 rig. I'm putting a new stock axial transmission with Hot Racing Metal 86 tooh spur gear but sure on the pinon gear or motor that I should put in it. I'm using right now a stock axial wraith esc and about put a bec on it just to hold down the 3s. Any thoughts Harley about what motor combo to run. I am on a budget to one of those 100 plus motors wont work. |

I have a traxxas brushed motor out of a slash 2wd think it's a 550. I would like to know would this have enough speed for a mud trail truck. I'm not going to real do a lot of crawling but would like a little torque. All so what gear to use I'm using the 32p gen3 slipper.

I spoke with Michael at Tekin Support and he said the Roc 412 3100 kv is the way to go on the wraith. I'm currently running the RS esc and 13.5 redline. I'm at the point where I want something new, so I'm torn between the Pro4 3300 w/ RX8 and the Roc 3100 and keeping my RS. What do you guys think? PS running 3s lipo with upgraded drivetrain. |

Hallo, I tested the 88/13 (48p) (steel spur and alu pinion) motor temp and speed ar both more than ok Unfortunately after approx 2,5 hours of fairly tough run I spotted the pinion already started wearing out, I guess it will still hold an hour or so...not more, so I am definitely needing a Steel Pinion, any idea about where to find Steel pinions 13T and 14T? thanks a lot Last edited by slimfire; 06-06-2013 at 07:25 AM.

BTW I read about you having to tighten the slipper at the last G6 comp, as I experienced the same while testing the RRP slipper, is there a 'method' to determine the right tightness? Or is it a trial and error process? Thanks. - slim -
