So what size hubs did you use on those Star rims? Did you try and stay close to stock width?

Im using 225's. Thats as close as I will be able to get to stock.

EDIT: They are actually 350 Hubs.

What does that put your overall width at?

Looking good man, how come you removed the rear steer?

Simplicity is all. I want something reliable that can run for hours in a G6 event. No dig, no 4WS. But that allows me to have F/R winches easily.

How wide is you axle with .225's?

Do you find any issues with .225 and Universals binding? I know if I went to narrow on my XR10 those would bind under extreme angles?

Thanks

Just by looking at the pics above, it's suffice to say that it's NOT 225 hubs. Compare the pics above to the one via VP site, it's indeed 350 hubs without a doubt.

Can't believe I haven't finished this yet!

It is running now, just need to finish some of the details.

Lightbar is installed but the rock lights and tail lights still need to be wired up.

Winch is installed but I still need a fairlead and winchline/hook. I modified a BLS152 for the winch duty and I am using a Warpig spool that Harley was kind enough to send me

I ran it in a KOH style lap race at our last event with no weight in the wheels and it worked great. The Al axles really keep the weight where it needs to be. Although I was hanging up quite a bit on the axles due to the material.

Picked up 2 sets of the MadDogRC - Scale Winch Upgrade Kits. They now include "More Scale"

I have to agree, these kits are sweet

See more details here: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/scale...re-scale*.html

This will be a great addition to the winch setup on my Wraith. Getting closer to being ready for Axialfest!

Check out the detail in the line and hook.

Also had a bit of help in the garage last night
