he means that the bec inside of the esc puts out 6 volts and thats what the rear servo will run off of. the forward servo will run off of the external BEC on the bumped up voltage to make more torque. sorry not trying to hijack was just reading and thought I could answer his question.

Remember the 7980 is a slightly over sized servo, and not a exact direct fit. I also forgot to order the aluminum servo mount posts to be on the safe side which I have to do this afternoon. I've been using Hitec since I raced nitro stadium trucks back in the mid to late 90's. I've never had one fail, unless I just wore it out or did something stupid.

Your exactly correct KrawlerKing! I'm using a Castle Creations Mamba Max Pro, that has an adjustable internal BEC which I will set at 6.0v. I may also run a BRXL that also has a internal BEC that puts out 6.0V.

I'll go through all the wiring when I get to that point. This build is going to have WAAAYYY too much wire between 4WS, a servo winch, and maybe some lights.

Default Drive Train Part 1

I was going to make my own links for this build today but I realized I didn't have any link ends so onto the transmission. I'm using a stock case but a good bit of the guts are are aftermarket.

This tranny is going to see some serious horsepower through it so I filled it up with all metal gears.

As you can see the top shaft is also being replaced by one from SuperShafty.com, wow this top shaft is a good bit more beefy! Check it out!

The reason I'm swapping that out is I'm going with 32P gears and wanted a stronger slipper. I'm going with a all steel one from RRP. Talk about beefy .....

I got everything buttoned up with little pain and bolted my motor up!

I'm not going to be able to run the spur gear cover, that's not really a problem as this Wraith is being built as more of a crawler that my other one. This one isn't getting all the water proofing I did on the other build.

Well looking at it I think I might have put the spur on backwards ... Either way I'll be running 14/56 gears and I'll be running RRP (Robinson Racing Products)

I've not abandoned this build but this silly christmas-family-work thing seems to be keeping me out of the shop. I've delrin jackets for the links cut, I still have to cut the all thread mate them up and bend them. I promise it won't be too long off though. I've even order some new toys for the build and I'm waiting for one thing to be released before I make a final decision on the front end...

I just finished my Wraith kit today with all of the VP produts made and a Tekin pro 4 3300kv MMpro and cc BEC. 14/56 32p gears and 5.5 TSL swampers and it runs like stink. And it well run slow also. My only complaint is it turns to sharp. This is fine when slow running but at high speed, I think i well turn down my EPA and try that next. I have had dual steer on my crawler with 7954hss servos frt and rear and no BEC for over three years and never have had a problem with lack of tq. It well move rocks when you move the steering wheel. Sounds like you well have a bullet proof rig.

No, the front axle will not be installed on chassis in this orientation. Remember you''re looking at the pic and can see both diff covers........Wartrader has it correct.

I dunno, if you flip the one closet to us around to the front(pretend we are looking from the rear) so the pumpkins are both to the left. It will put both ring gears to the right.
