Default Spidey lunchbox tins

These cheap lunchboxes are preprinted with graphics.

i might try and see if i can get all the panels out of one lunchbox.

Here's the hood.

Thats Awesome!!! i actually had the same idea last week when i found this OG Ninja Turtles TV tray at the local Goodwill... but when i got home, i couldn't bring myself to cut it up... its too retro to destroy...( 1988 )...

im bout to be on the hunt for an OG lunchbox tho... gonna have a vintage hood on my Wraith... lol

Default Sweet work!

How did you go about forming it though? That would be my concern, not butchering it on the first go round.

I used to have that meal tray, i ate a lot of meals on it in front of the ole boob tube when i was a kid, this brings back memories.

Really nice job on the lunchbox skins, its a great idea. At first i thought it was going to be a Tamiya Lunchbox body with a custom spoderman paintjob, but this is probably better.

Very nice job Only way it could be cooler is if the spidey string was at front of hood, and servo winch cable came out of his hand

Looks great, now hide that antenna.
Sorry, I just hate seeing a big ole antenna sticking out of scale type rig.

Thanks for the comments.

i just kinda freestyle'd it. i cut it out quite a bit wider than needed. Started forming with my hobby scarred fingers, then used a 3/8" delrin rod to kind of roll it into shape. All the while, cutting where needed to help the bends with a Wiss snip (i knew the front corners wouldn't form clean, so just cut 'em).

The nose came out a little long and tight on the bumper mount, but i'll tweak it some.

Spidey is very cool, although it probably would give a serious collector bad dreams.
