Default wraith question

Hey I'm kinda new to this stuff and wanted to know if you had to water proof the wraith anymore than it is,

it can stand quite a it of water in stock-form. the motor may fry if the water is really dirty, but anything , short of throwing it in a river, wet is no problem.
just be careful with rust, and spray the rotating parts with silicone or something before drivinmg it in the wet.

Most of the reading and videos I have seen say the wraith is splashproof, not waterproof. But if everything fries, time to upgrade!!

Which parts should I watch out for rust on? Haven't seen any exposed steel on mine.

Doesn't have to be exposed. Water gets everywhere. Bearings are the first to cause problems.

So if i am going to be submerging it i should look at helping the electronics but if i am just gonna be in light mud or a little water i should be fine?

This was 5 mins out the box.



Electronics are pretty usually fine, I smoked the motor though.

You need to pay attention to the bearings and such, even light water or mud. I hate mud, don't enjoy running in it at all.
