Dang, missed this thread for some reason, didn't even know you had started the build Richard This one was a challenge. If it hadn't been for, I probably wouldn't have done it at all! I actually started building it before having Wraith parts in hand. Once I got them, I had to redesign a few sections to get everything to clear properly.

Looking forward to seeing this one done up and in action. Hopefully you won't run into the same axle issues as with the 1:1

I really can't thank you enough Chris. This is the best one so far. I plan on beatin this one real good so, my axles will pay the price. Time will tell

Because of the saturating rain here I doubt I will use this rig at all this winter once she is finished. I can sink my foot a few inches in my yard because the sun never dries anything out. Way too moist to run that MMP.

not yet man, but I did get the rear links worked out. Nothing touches or binds with the driveshaft or links, free flowing if you will.

yes, good eye you have. Chris pushed the skid plate very far up front to clear for an interior and dash. So only the rear shaft and rear links will be that long. The front shaft and links will a modest length. I have two females with a male CA'd to one of the females. This method has yet to fail me on me last two southern buggies I had. Plus I like the plastic driveshafts to be the weakest link on this kind of rig, its an obstacle rig not a trail rig, so its not for the long haul.

Once I get the front axle hung I will let you know the wheelbase is, for now I guess its gonna be aprox 14.5 to 15 inches.

He does some amazing work. You're one lucky SOB to have one of his creations. Can't wait to see it up and running. It screams just standing still!

Got to hold this thing yesterday, and im telling you guys pictures cant do this thing any justice. Its huge, but its well thought out and the geometry is perfect. This is by far the best southern buggy of richards ive seen, and ive gotten to run with every single one of them. Great work chris! And richard you are a lucky mofo!

yeah sort of. Once I get correct length links all the way around I will order up new and better links. Maybe Ti for the bottom four.
