1968 SS "Wramaro" After pondering for at least 2 to 3 hours on what to do with this thing, and a pot of coffee later, the caffeine kicked in and my buddy and I came up with this: http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...IMAG0048-1.jpg http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...IMAG0049-1.jpg http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...IMAG0050-1.jpg http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...0/IMAG0052.jpg http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...0/IMAG0051.jpg It's sleek and sexy, even has hips! http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...0/IMAG0053.jpg http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...0/IMAG0054.jpg http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...IMAG0056-1.jpg http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...IMAG0061-1.jpg http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...IMAG0063-1.jpg CORCRC Sawyer Park Pull 12.17.2011 - YouTube |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" im lovin this that thing does look sick. im thinkin a newer Challenger body might look pretty good, already got the paint job black with two red stripes across the hood and down the side of the front fenders |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" Now thats thinking outside the box, very nice! |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" Nice to see that you posted this Chris."thumbsup" |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" It turned out nice! Loved the sled pulling action! |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" Looks good "thumbsup" Kinda like the Crawlmaro only if it was green. It does fit the chassis very good. |

Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" So simple yet so perfect. There'll be a few copying this idea. |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" That just looks so right. Who makes that body? Did you narrow or shorten it at all? And, do the tires rub at full flex/steering lock? |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" i was thinking the same thing crawmero ,nice job it looks nice and clean and even better that you did not cut the grill for the wraith bumper awesomw."thumbsup" |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" Was not sure what to think at first...........But I really like it. Nice job!"thumbsup" |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" Thanks for the kind words everyone! The body is a HPI 1968 Camaro body, the hood and front fenders were cut and pushed back about 1/2" to try to clearance the tires, it does rub some, but it's not bad at all, at least not bad after I put standard offset Axial beadlocks and Rok Loks on. With the Wraith wheels and Ripsaws it did try to grab ahold of the front fairly often. Hoping to have some pictures up soon of the next body, my friend and I are working on a 70 Challenger body for his Wraith. |

Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" Cool. Really like the camaro. |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" You trimmed that challenger body great. The lines from the side are real nice. Does it rub when you flex it out? |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" Do a search for Crawlmaro. Here is a link. They took and put one of the brand new bodied Camaros on a sick tube chassis - made the cover of the CRAWL magazine. The New CRAWL Camaro Buggy | Busted Knuckle Films |

I saw the "Crawlmaro" in the Crawl magazine, looked pretty cool but I think it would have looked better with a 60s nose. The pinched look isn't bad, but I prefer the full front. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...0/DSC_0022.jpg |
Re: 1968 SS "Wramaro" That Challenger looks awesome. What colour green is that? |
