Default 1968 SS "Wramaro"

After pondering for at least 2 to 3 hours on what to do with this thing, and a pot of coffee later, the caffeine kicked in and my buddy and I came up with this:

It's sleek and sexy, even has hips!

Looks good Kinda like the Crawlmaro only if it was green. It does fit the chassis very good.

That just looks so right.

Who makes that body? Did you narrow or shorten it at all? And, do the tires rub at full flex/steering lock?

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

The body is a HPI 1968 Camaro body, the hood and front fenders were cut and pushed back about 1/2" to try to clearance the tires, it does rub some, but it's not bad at all, at least not bad after I put standard offset Axial beadlocks and Rok Loks on. With the Wraith wheels and Ripsaws it did try to grab ahold of the front fairly often.

Hoping to have some pictures up soon of the next body, my friend and I are working on a 70 Challenger body for his Wraith.

You trimmed that challenger body great. The lines from the side are real nice. Does it rub when you flex it out?

Do a search for Crawlmaro. Here is a link. They took and put one of the brand new bodied Camaros on a sick tube chassis - made the cover of the CRAWL magazine.

The Camaro body does rub some, but it's minimal since I put different offset Axial wheels and the Rok Lok's on it. The Charger rubs quite a bit, but after a short period of running we can see where the trimming needs to happen. Shouldn't affect the appearance too much. Should have it squared away for our next meet.

I saw the "Crawlmaro" in the Crawl magazine, looked pretty cool but I think it would have looked better with a 60s nose. The pinched look isn't bad, but I prefer the full front.
