I mounted up some bashing tires last night with 4ozs of lead in the fronts and none in the rears, They are the Kit R35 Super Soft "RipSaws" and I even star cut the foams and removed some lugs from the tread for more grip since we have more dirt and rubble than mountains and rocks here. She flexes pretty nice ?

I ran the same gen ace lipo's in my race truck last year. They are great lipo's but are pretty heavy. You might consider some small sky lipos to bring the weight down.

Def ! They are fantastic lipos for the $$. I've run everything from Thunder Power to CrapAmps and these Gens outperform anything I've owned in the last 8yrs. I thought much the same thing about the weight but I have 8 of these 50C packs for my SCTE's, SC10 & lOSI 22. I'd rather not buy anymore 2s Lipos if I can help it.
If I do I'd, prob go with 3400-4000mah 30c ?

I didn't have much time to post earleir but wanted to add that I've ben building and messing withs RC's of all kinds for 25+yrs includeing 10S powered 25lb 1/5scale Monster Trucks and this by far has ben the funnest build to date. We had a absolute blast today, the bash spot we recently found has perfect terrain and trails. Mostly packed dirt mounds with a nice mix of grass & rubble. This truck was a ton of fun to drive, my first experience of any crawling am I'm hooked. The 4W Steering is jusy iceing on the cake, sooo glad I did this mod. I'm sure someone with crawling experience can improve on this truck works/handles but as for right now I wouldn't change a thing, It did everything perfectly. I was apprehensive about my Cut Ripsaws but they worked extremely well, I had a ear to ear smile the whole time driving. This crawler has ben the most fun I've had in RC in years including raceing. I have to report at the end of the run I broke one of the front CVD's(RC4WD) Wasted money I think, the stock Axial CVD's are much beefier. "The Zero" mentioned in post #11 and boy where you right.
