Default New here, kind of!!!

Hey everyone, I'm Lance and live in Kentucky. Signed up awhile back but got side tracked on some other things but thanks to my wife have reignited my interest into this!! I have always been into the real life crawlers from jeeps to full blown purpose built buggies! I chose to sell my real life big toys to pay for some other big toys and a business venture, and have missed it everyday! My wife and mom know how much I have missed wheeling and stuff so they started finding some scaler vids on YouTube and showing them to me!!! This is great all the same great stuff and fun at 1% the cost and when you crash or break you can still drive home!! My birthday is Sunday and I believe they are getting me a wraith!!! If not I'm buying one!!!

What kind of basics should I pick up as far as tools and other supplies?
Also thanks in advance for all the answers, lol!!!

What are some good sites for parts and accessories?

Welcome back. Lol
You should find most of your answers in the sticky's at the top.
Harley did a great right up of what you should need as for upgrades and what to expect.

RPP hobby is one of the best to get supplies from. Just like everyone else wil say Just do a search and you can find what you need help on.
Thousands of questions have been asked so searching for th answer should be a breeze.
Have fun and make sure to put up pictures.

Welcome!! I'm from KY also, I live close to Somerset. Smiths Grove, is that off 64? before Bowling Green? I think I got lost one time coming from Beech Bend and ended up around there..

There are also some vendors here on the site that sell parts. I also order most of my stuff from RPP Hobby.
