Default Dinky R/C's Wraith "Drop Box" Cargo Tray

Introducing the NEW

Wraith "Drop Box" Cargo Tray!

Available in Black or White .040" Styrene.

And also available in .030" Clear Lexan.

We've saved you the time and headache of building your own rear cargo tray,
by making them a one piece drop in, The "Drop Box".

Still allowing you to use your current battery set-up,
after removing your stock battery tray.

(Shown here using a 4000mah 3S Lipo for size reference)

The New Wraith "Drop Box" also accommodates your "Flip-Mod" rear shock mount mod,
if you have lowered your Wraith's suspension, by clearly noting the holes for trimming.

This allows your shocks to pass thru the rear deck of the "Drop Box" after trimming, for stellar Scale looks!

Here's a couple shots of them mounted and trimmed up.

Ordered my drop boxes on Tuesday January 24th and they were at my house yesterday January 26th when I got home from work. Talk about some fast shipping.. Installed one last night and it looks perfect. I will post pics later today or in the morning.

The drop box sits right where the battery tray is. If you run the servo on top of the rear axle there shouldn't be any issues.

Maybe a molded in Fuel cell,
for the servo to move up into?

I do not run Rear Steer on the shop Wraith, ...yet.

If this is a common issue that we could address with a version 2,
Please post up, and tell us what other options you would like to see!

YES!!! run rear steer and wouldn't be able to use this because of it. If you made one with a fuel cell that would be killer!

Looking good there bud!
Thanks again for the heads up on the dropped thread during the site mishap!

Don't forget, the mounting holes are marked on the floor of the "Drop Box",
so the zip-ties shouldn't be necessary. But they do look kinda cool.
Post up some more when your all painted up!

i was having issues with the driver's side of the drop box lifting up so that is why I used the zipties. I might not have trimmed it enough to fit properly but that is why I ordered 2 of them in case I screwed up one.. LOL

Just need to decide what color I am going to paint the new body.

We are aware of the issue of priority only on the website, for US and International.
I have contacted our web guy, and we are working the problem.
Something about USPS changing some things on their end, waiting on our shipping module to update to their new changes.

So, in the mean time, if you would like, we can just send you an invoice directly,
For first class shipping, rather than priority.

If anyone would like to go that route while we work the problem, please send me a pm.
Or contact us directly thru DinkyRC.com.

Good to know. Will likely just wait for the website to update. I think my dogs know when I want to buy something as they ate my winter boots last night so the money that would have went to the tray ended up replacing the boots.

Anyone have pictures with the drop shock setup? Just got my drop box and wanted to see others before I cut mine.

Craig I cut mine last nite, and the outlines for the shocks are off, plus I think I got a bad formed 1, it doesn't fit at all with the shock part of the frame installed, it looks crooked
