Has anyone put brass threaded inserts on the wraith axles like the guys did on xr10s? I searched and did not find anything. But to me metal on metal threads always felt better and for a cheaper upgrade over full metal axle cases. seems like a good idea to me. Just wanted to see what other were thinking.

The axle case is a one piece design, so there are not really any places to add the inserts on it. The wall thickness of the plastic is too thin to use them in the upper link mounts holes. The deal with the XR is it adds clamping force to the top and bottom axle case halfs, and the upper link mounts. |

i know its not needed like on the xr10s but for the diff cover and bearing supports it would be nice.

The diff cover uses 2mm harware, and doesn't see any load. The bearing carriers would be nice to do, but IIRC there isn't enough material for the insert there.
