Thanks Nate. I got a email from Castle yesterday. My MMP will be out to me within the next week or two. I havent posted any progess in a while so I figured I'd get you caught up. I scuffed the roof and hood and painted them. I did the roof in the "Rhino liner" type spray paint and did the hood in flat black. I'm working on some kind of satin black design on the hood, not really sure there yet. I also added some scale acc in the back. I used Dubro hinges and some micro screws for the hinges. Then I used a Traxxas battery holder thing and used the posts for the front. I dont have a drill bit that small so I used a piece of guitar string to melt a hole in the hood. SO the screws are both asthetic and functional. A drop of Shoogoo ensured they wouldnt move. I got this jack, now I gotta decide where to mount it. Either here... or on the back beside the spare tire. Either way I have 2 holes on the hood. They arent really ideal for mounting the jack because they're almost to far apart |

| Re: Hoosiers Rubi-Wraith I ended up spraying it with a textured paint. The soft top looked good, but its a PITA to make the back end look good. Either way, thanks for looking.

thanks guys. Those shocks are 100mm with super soft springs. So far so good. I like em. The hinges are just Dubro airplane hinges. I dont have any parts numbers for you. But if you go to the Dynamic Concepts Rubi thread you'll find the info you're looking for. And yes, these rims are seriously badass. |

I have a question for ya.. How do you keep the grill on once your cut it from the top piece? I was thinking about doing the front battery mod with the flip hood. But I can't for the life of me see how to keep the grill on if I cut it off. LOL

Yup, the corners get glued to the corners of the fenders. Drill the holes out for the bumper mounts. Ive seen people cut slots out so they dont have to seperate the grill from the hood, but this way looks better IMO. | ||
