| Chassis hitting servo horn?
I am running a Savox 1256TG servo in my Wraith kit and when I try to fully compress my wraith the back of the front bumper hits my servo horn so it is not able to compress all the way. Is this the case on all wraiths?

Mine did. I used a round bastard to clearance the bumper where the arm screw hit and all is good.

i made a servo mount similar to stock but wider (axle truss mounting holes will be farther with the servo mounting holes), this will make the servo move backwards and clear up some space for the servo to move freely.

I added some spacers between the bumper and bumper arms...solves the problem. Add just enough to clear the servo horn. You can use anything from shock spacers and plastic from Axial trees.

I drilled and countersunk new holes in front of the stock holes on the servo plate to move the servo and drag link back a little behind the tie rod. Gotta flip the servo so the horn clears the diff cover and use a longer drag link, an AX-10 upper link fits perfect.

| Re: Chassis hitting servo horn? My servo arm was hitting the front bumper as well after I started using a Racers Edge aluminum clamp on arm which is a bit thicker than the stock plastic arms. To fix it I just got out the dremel and a half-round file to make room for the horn and screw.

Maybe its a kit vs RTR differance? they give you some different rod choices so maybe I spaced the front axle more foreward than normal.

There's 3 different sizes of mounting brackets in the kit. Not sure about the RTR version. I just used the shorter (not so deep) one. |
