Thumbs up "midnight express" wraith build.

So, my wraith showed up more than a week early..... WOOOOHOOOO!!! left work early to go pick it up from my buddy. I've never done a build before, but I did a bunch of research on this forum and learned so much that I felt like t wasn't gonna be a problem. thanks guys for being so helpfull.

the reason I called t midnight express, is because, between my two little kids and running my business, the only chances I get to do any building is usually around 9:30 at night.

the fruits of my first three hours of labour. I'll admit I really had a hard time with the shocks. had to watch a few videos to fgure out what I was doing wrong.

... TAH DAAAHHHH! sorry guys, got a little carried away , decided not t take pics along the way. Mostly because I'm too lazy... anyway. I got the kit on tuesday and finished it last night at about 3:30 am... yawn.

I like the paint it looks good. Midnight hours can be some of my most productive hours for me. Not like I can sleep thinking about the build.

Still waiting on my tekin fx-r with a 35t motor , and my aluminum high clearaance links. but I did install a savox sc-1256 tg servo, and a new spectrum reciever. trying to decide whether I should "plasti dip" my electronics. any sugestions on waterproofing?

thanks , paint is one thing that I've got sone experience with, lots of models whle I when I was growing up. couldn't find a gunmetal grey lexan paint so I had to alternate super thin layers, of slver and black. sure wish I hadn't sold my airbrush all those years ago.[/IMG]

oh yeah, I also did the aluminum steering links and steel flanged balls in all the supension bits. Everthing is in the stock configuration for now, I figure I wanna at least get a run or two out of it before I start changing things. Probably gonna relocate the battery to the front.

I still didnt get a batt tray in the front let alone any painting, and i picked it up b-4 x-mas!!
