im working on narrowing a set of stock axial beadlocks to mount the baja claws on. i'm going to shoot for the 3/4-1" wide wheel and hopefully ot will be narrow enough. we'll see what happens. may just have to order a set of the wheels i origionally wanted.

Okay...total noob question here, but how did you mount your receiver box and stock ESC in the back?

The wires were a bit tight but they worked with a bit of re routing. I used a piece of .040 lexan as a solid base over the existing tray then just used double sticky tape to hold everything down

Doing it again I'd run the rx in front of the esc though. Everythimg will have plenty of slack

The only thing on mine that looked like I wouldn't have enough slack was the signal wire from the servo. So I extended probably 6 inches and now I can put the rx box pretty much anywhere I want.

May have to get a sheet of lexan at my LHS when I grab my 32p 10T pinion later today. Maybe I can make a battery tray for the front, too.

Don't think I'm going to find a 5000mah 2s to fit there, though. Besides....I want the weight up front.

Okay, so I'm disappointed in my LHS. They didn't have the pinion I wanted, nor do they keep them in stock. Guess I'll have to order one online.

That's lame. A hobby shop without pinion selection. What the crap? Mine has all sorts of pinions. He even got me hooked up with an mmp for $109 and change after taxes. Not to bad if you ask me

got my baja claws in the mail yesterday, and man are they big. im going to be grooving them soon but here is how they look on the wraith. this will be the last thing done for a while as i have another project. anyways i can't wait to see how they work, but im sure they'll work better when i get around to grooving them.

If you grove them they will work even better. Take the large lugs and cut it into three small lugs then the smaller lugs in half. I have mounted mine backwards they seem to grab ledges and pull the vehicle up. Where i live we have alot of lava rock and they work great.

just went front the HH 25t to a HH 27t torque master expert. not a ton of difference, just wanted the 25t for a new build. i know now that i will never buy another motor as long as john is in business. these are the best of the best brushed motors IMO.
