Default Gearing Wraith for crawling

I plan to start builing a Wraith this week. I plan on mostly crawling. I need info on gearing recommendations. What do I need in the transmission and in the front and rear differentials? Thanks for you input.

Go to 32P spur/pinion. For crawling, maybe a 56/13 combo to keep the speeds down a bit. Metal gears in the tranny. One piece locker in the pumpkins. That's a decent start.

I am ramping up for a Wraith build as we speak. As far as Transmission Get RRP replacement gears make that baby bullet proof. Next up are your axles I would recommend since your main objective is Crawling. Get your hands on Axial Underdrive gears 43/13 for the rear axle and get Overdrive gears 36/14 for the front axle. You may want to pick up some Wraith Beef Tubes as well. to add weight down low and extra strength to your axle housings.

I'm going to ask a dumb question, but I'm new to this. Why do you you run different in the front than you do the rear?

You could always just use a matched set of gears. If I where going to do that I may go with the O/D drive gears front and rear. Maybe even just get a set of Heavy duty Stock gears front and Rear ax30395.

if i remember correctly it is to reduce torque twist the front pulls and the rear pushes. or vise versa
