New Servo, Now Interference

RTR Wraith, now with Mamba Max Pro, Tekin 13.5, stock receiver. Just installed a Hitec HS-7955TG servo. Under light throttle there is now a twitch/hicup. When the throttle trim is turned up (so forward has near zero dead space on trigger), I can hear the motor twitch as I turn the steering.

Any suggestions? I bought a CC BEC to install, will this help or change anything for the better?

I'm a new to RC, so try to forgive if I overlooked anything too obvious. Searching yielded nothing quite the same.

Sounds exactly like what my MMP was doing running a 7955TG on the internal BEC. I put in a CC 10a BEC and the problem vanished.

A quick BEC install question. I tap into the battery connector, then plug it into the 3rd channel on the receiver. Correct?

You can plug into any open pins on the receiver. Batt, or any channel should work fine. Don't forget to pull the red out of the speed control plug, since the BEC takes over power duties.

Ok, the BEC seems to have stopped the interference issue. Now one more simple question, as the Receiver has power as long as the battery is connected . . . are most of you guys running the BEC power through a switch, or a shared switch to power the ESC?

Most will tell you to disconnect the battery any time you're not driving it. You can switch the BEC, but it's good practice to disconnect the battery.
