It's not something I'd run. I'd piece together something with better parts if it were me.

Hi!
I just got a Wraith Spawn and love it to bits!
And, like any other love, I'm now trying to change it to my liking.

Given that this is my 1st RC item, and my knowledge on electronics and physics and mechanics and whatnot are close to _____(flat line), I'm avidly reading this chinese language on the forums, waiting for some translation to miraculously take place in my head.

I really appreciate the time you took to write all this down, and I really hope I can find the parts in UK. Thank you!

Welcome to Wraith ownership! There is a lot of info on this site. Feel free to ask questions and look over build threads for ideas wine what others have done.
It is a fun truck and for me at least, building it up has been half the fun.

Is this really the only compatible top shaft for this mod?

(Probably should have went with the fully built option

^^ Yes. Or Dlux sells metal versions. Search "big bore shock mounts" on his site.

Guys I hope you can forgive me but I am new to crawlers and cars for that matter and I am a bit confused as to how to proceed. I am getting a metal chassis made by DMG is there anything special I should ask be done to it? what would you do to get your truck to the roller stage? I dont mind spending money on the truck and would rather save for top of the line stuff than buy something cheaper to have it faster. I dont care about bling as much as durability, this truck will get used allot. Sorry for the question but allot of the links are invalid and I am not sure what works with what and dont want to waste money on parts that dont go together.

Hello. I'm in the same boat as previous poster.

I just got me a new to me Poison Spyder. It's had several mods already. Previous owner kept the wheels/tires so I guess that's my 1st need.
Another friend got into a Wraith & only had it for a couple months before he sold It & is getting back into the SCX10's actually 2 of them. He said the Wraith wouldn't go the places his SCX did, kept running into ground clearance issues.
So I was checking out the Integunk Hi-LIft axles & wondering if they would help that problem?

More than anything I'm bummed that most of Harley's links are dead. When I got here I was all excited seeing all those links broke down like that for each area of a rig.

Same here again! If someone with knowledge of every RC nook and cranny on the internet could find those parts again and put them there. If theyre nonexistent anymore just do what youde say works good too. Ive got a shopping crat with the parts i though would be good and im useing off brand houseings.. What do you guys think?

Also has anyone accually broke a diff cover or are they just for show?

Google and spend a bit of effort. Parts are parts, IF not around , think why??
Quality parts abound for Wraiths.
I just built one from parts, not really tough.

Thanks Mike, I was just trying to learn from other experience. I have read a lot where some combinations burn out motors, etc.. Just trying to fine the right combinations. Not trying to bash anyone just trying to see if the wraith forums are still active or if folks are doing something different. Nice looking build!

I do not know what all the lingo means still. What ESC stands for or DIG or BEC...

Default Harley's Guide to a Bulletproof Wraith

Electronic Speed Control
Battery Eliminator Circuit

DIG ..... driving style when one axle is locked and the other pulls or pushes to allow the climb.
I use that on my MOA crawler ..... (Motor On Axle)
This section can be slow, just read and you will pick all the good ideas up, also learn from our mistakes and save a few$$$!

I like your setup. I just got mine in the mail yesterday and already do not like the way it sits. I was wanting articulation like the Bomber and it looks like you have your shock mounts moved and longer shocks which looks like the limiting factor with mine. I need to figure out the tires also, mine are flat on the bottom and I would actually like bigger tires. I have Super Swampers 2.05 X 5.40 - 2.2PL

I went with 5" shocks, but run them super soft. And light oil . Also the lowering kit helps with ride height
