| STRC vs RC4WD upper 4 links
While trying to spread money out I ordered STRC 4 links off of ebay everyone month or so until I placed an larger order through RC4WD, which included a set of upper 4 links. The RC4WD set with RC4WD rod ends match the stock upper 4 links. Turns out that it appears that the STRC links either use shorter rod ends? Should I just trim the end of the STRC and use my aluminum RC4WD rod ends or are there short rods ends out there? |

Does one use the stock end links while the other uses the Revo rod ends? I know the Revo ends are much longer. I'm using those on my link build currently and like them a lot.

The stock links have the ends incorporated into the links. I'm not familiar with Traxxas stuff but the RC4WD ends are already too long for the STRC links

With my STRC upper and lowers I used the rod ends that came in my Wraith Kit. Fit perfect!! |

the revo ends are way more beef. you can just cut them down a little bit and use those. i use either losi or revo for all of my links and steering. they are way stronger than axial rod ends

For one, Revo links are not much longer, however Jato ends are roughly 3/4" longer. Both require a 4mm or 8-32 thread. This would require more modification to his links which it does not appear is his intent. | |

true and that is why i also threw the losi ends in there. i have had way better luck with those ends than axial ends. pack after pack of replacing the axial ends was getting expensive. harley you caught me on the revo part. my bad for not giving more info

Thanks for all the suggestions guys I just cut the end off, drilled and tapped a new hole and good to go now. I might use a black sharpie to clean up the end a bit, but functionally, it's as good as new I'm not afraid to mod. Most of my RCs are RC10s, some of which are really mod'd |
