Axial wraith battery

I have a 5000 mah hard case lipo and I was wondering if there was any way to fit a bigger battery in the wraith?

why do you want such a big battery? i have a 3300 2s2p in my wraith and get an hour or more of run time out of it.

I'm running a 4000Mah. The only reason I went this big is so I could use the Batt. in other cars too. 3300 mAH of a high C rating would be good too.

my 3300 is 40c. it is a good size and gets you lots of run time.

My 5000 fits and it runs for about 45 minutes, I have a traxxas vxl system in my wraith so it uses a lot more but the problem is when I take my truck out I don't have anyway to charge the battery so I want a 2nd one that was a little bigger so I could go for about 2 hours.

Jew, I have a VXL in my wraith w/a 5000 3S and get alot more than 45 min of run time. You might have a bad battery.

It's a turnigy battery, I know it's not the best but I didn't feel like spending 60 or more on a battery.

i spent $40 on mine. i have a castle creations MM and a HH 25t motor and i get over an hour of run time. cheaper batteries use cheap cells. they wont run as long or have as long of a life span as a higher quality battery.

I have a 3300 kv venom motor in my wraith and use a 5000 mah Onyx battery. I ran mine for just over an hour today! It seems to fit just fine in the back and it was only $45.00.

5000 2s Gens Ace hardcase. ROAR approved, almost 3 hours of runtime. Affordable too, check out Hobbypartz.

I use a Tunigy 5000mAh 2s 30-40c hardcase and I get about an hour and a half of run time, why do you want a bigger battery?

Driving style is the biggest difference in LiPo duration. It's evident that many that have posted are basher type drivers. Pedal to the metal and battery life goes quickly.

I, on the other hand, built my Wraith for crawling mainly. I don't think it's ever seen full throttle for more than a few seconds. A 2200 3S LiPo will last me over well an hour. Probably closer to 1.5 hrs and it's still not close to LVC.

A buddy of mine runs a cheepo 5000 mah pack in his wraith and gets over 2 hours out of it crawling and trail rides. I use tunigy 2200 3S in mine and get a little over an hour run time out of each. They were only around $10 each so I bought 4 at the time and usually have 3 in my pockets and one in the rig so I don't ever have to stop driving to charge batteries.
At comps we break for lunch. I go eat while others are charging there batteries. At around $10-15 each and there starting on there 3rd summer, I can't complain about Turnigy lipo's.

Re: Axial wraith battery

ive ran thunder power batts in helicopters before playing with crawlers i had switched to turnigy and man i think there awesome specialy for the price reduction and i dont see any less performance then the thunderpowers and tunrigy cost less than half.

i have about 8 batteries from 2200-5000 to pick from all tunrigy but one is rhino. rhino does okay to and was also priced right.

the i mostly run 3s a 2s 2200 wont get as much drive time as 3s 2200 ive got alot of batts

With the battery box up front I can fit a Sky 5000 2S 20C and crawl for almost 2 hours. Also fit a 2200 3S in there too
