| RC4WD - sneak peek at new a product coming soon...
This is something that nobody else makes... Yes it's a Wraith and SCX10 compatible 2 speed transmission. Features: * Direct fit into chassis * Machined billet aluminum casing with matte black finish * 3mm thick motor plate * Slipper clutch * Hardened steel 48p internal gears * Hardened steel shift mechanism and outputs * 2 speed - 1st gear: 5.05:1, 2nd gear: 1.78:1 (without pinion/spur, stock Axial tranny is 2.6:1) * pinion/spur ratio - 4:1 * Delrin 60T 32p spur gear * Steel 15T 32p pinion gear * spur mount compatible with RC4WD, Traxxas, Axial, Robinson spurs * similar in size and shape to a stock Wraith transmission (with dig housing) * will work with standard or micro servo So it's like dropping a Summit tranny into your rig only it's a lot smaller and no custom mounts are required. 2 speed, dig, or selectable 2wd to 4wd. My bet is its pointed at axial rigs.

I have not started building the transmission for my Wraith build. I am interested and willing to spend ( I have many plans for the Transmission VP case/ VP Dig and of course Robinson Racing Products ). Release date please. |

Is it safe to assume that it doesn't interfere with the stock interior? Doesn't look like it now, but will the final version allow the use of the dust cover? Will a micro servo be sufficient enough to run this thing? This is certainly something that has my attention! |
