Nothing like getting 200mi away from home and needing brakes! FML, just my luck haha.

Well Axialfest was...how do I say....AWESOME! The Wraith did great all weekend, no issues at all! Elio and VP hooked me up with some chubs and knuckles on Saturday, definitely upped my confidence in my rig. Ended up with a 2nd place finish in the Wraith/2.2 class!

Some pics from the G6:

Did you have any motor sensor issues on the Wraith with the water?

I didn't water proof anything and it was fine up until the night stage, drove through a really deep spot on the creek crossing and it was fine. Once I got back to G-headquarters and officially finished, I lost sensors. Dried it out all night and now it is fine.

I also got the motor wet on stage 2 near the bridge. It acted up for a few min then once dried it was fine.

How do you recommend waterproofing the pro4?

That I can't answer, I don't know for sure yet. I'm going to try a few things and see what works.

The Corrosion X method seems to work well. There is a thread here on it.

Congrats! Thanks for the pictures. I corrosionX my pro4 and rx8. I submerged the pro4 a lot with no problems not even a glitch. I have not submerged the rx8 but it has been splashed with no problems except the fan gets crappy.

Ty.

Do you have any drag brake at all. I'm running a pro4 3300 with a mmp that I had laying around. I'm running 15/60 and I dont have much brake unless I play with the trim for going down hills.

Are you still running the 48 pitch, I'll guess you are? I'm running 32 pitch and I can only run a 60 spur to clear in the cover. If you still are how is it holding up against the 3300.

I ran 65 drag break and it worked pretty good for me. I don't set my trucks up to hold on hills, but I know a lot of guys like to. I'm still running the 48p gears and they have been ok so far. I have my slipper set so that a nasty bind won't start destroying the driveline. I wanted to finish all 3 G6 stages and I would rather throw out a winch line than break down.
